2008 Rental Rates at New Rochelle
New York Sailing School rents sailboats to NYSS Grads, ASA Certified sailors and all other experienced sailors.
If you are not NYSS Graduate you will be required to take a one time "Check-out " session on the water and have basic coastal navigation knowledge.
Checkout session will last up to 2.5 hours for one time fee of $50.
Checkout time - weekends 9:30 AM, weekdays any time
All rentals are require to have current chart of the area that can be purchase at the school for $17.00
All rentals require minimum 2 persons on board - one has to be a sailor.
DAYSAILERS
23’ SONAR it‘s 11 ½ ‘ cockpit with contoured seating is comfortable without sacrificing its racing performance.
The SONAR is the ultimate daysailing luxury for up to 6 sailors. The best daysailor boat on the water today.
25’ MERIT is the 3 time MORC world champ. It’s a popular mini-cruiser that daysails 5 people. Has a marine head.
Outboard engine optional for additional $50.
Other sailboats may be available during sailing season. Please inquire.

CRUISERS
For overnighters, we offer on a limited schedule the Merit 25 - outboard gas provided for 2 or more days of rental., Catalina 25 - outboard gas, Mirage 27 - inboard diesel & Mirage 30 - inboard diesel. Also available for charter is the Beneteau Oceanis 390, which has 3 separate double cabins, full kitchen and two heads with hot shower.
