Cruise Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia is of the last unspoiled cruising areas left overflowing with spectacular scenery. Halifax, noted for its hospitality to sailors, is the starting point to an adventure through Mahone Bay (The Bay of a Thousand Islands). Be the only boat at anchor at an isolated isle. Explore your way down the rocky coastline to Lunenburg watching nature's beauty and wildlife unfold around you. This is a great sailing opportunity to cruise in nature's splendor and test your navigation and piloting skills.

Itinerary:

Day 1 - board yacht and provision in Halifax

Day 2 - sail to Ketch Harbor

Day 3 - sail to Big Tanook Island

Day 4 - sail to Mahone Bay and explore area

Day 5 - sail to Cub Basin in Prospect

Day 6 - sail to Shearwater Yacht Club

Day 7 - sail to Halifax and disembark to airport

Dates: July 22-28, July 29- August 4

Travel: Passport required
Halifax airport (YHZ) provides easy access from all New York airports.

USCG licensed Captain on board so you can relax and not worry about where to go safely. Sailing instructions are also available if you wish to incorporate class certifications into the trip. This is a great way to get valuable hands on experience and enjoy cruising on a sailing yacht all in one.
