Block Island, Cuttyhunk, Mystic Seaport Cruise

By popular demand, we are offering you an opportunity to cruise the Long Island Sound to Cuttyhunk Island. This is one of the most interesting and historical areas on the east coast. Learn to navigate the strong currents of The Race and the Rhode Island Sound. Explore Block Island by bicycle and get to know this colorful summer retreat. Visit tiny Cuttyhunk harbor and stroll to the top this little gem for a beautiful view of the MarthaÕs Vinyard and the Elizabeth Islands. Arriving at Mystic Seaport by boat will take you back to seafaring tradition preserved here and bestow you with respect for the skill of the Clipper Ship captains. Spend the night in the red rocky and bizarre Thimble Islands before setting sail west to the NYSS.

Itinerary:

Day 1 - board at NYSS set sail for Port Jefferson harbor

Day 2 - sail to Block Island Salt Pond

Day 3 - explore Block Island by bicycle

Day 4 - sail to Cuttyhunk Island

Day 5 - sail to Mystic, CN and visit the Mystic Seaport Museum

Day 6 - sail to The Thimbles Islands

Day 7 - sail to NYSS and disembark
