New York Sailing School rents sailboats to NYSS Graduates, ASA Certified sailors and all other experienced sailors. If you are not a NYSS Graduate, you will be required to take a one time Check-Out session on the water and demonstrate knowledge of sailing and basic coastal navigation. All rentals are required to have a current chart of the area that can be purchased at the school for $22. All rentals require a minimum of 2 persons on board - one being an experienced sailor.

Check-Out times: - weekends at 9:30 AM or weekdays
A session will last up to 2.5 hours for a one time fee of $50.

DAYSAILERS

New York Sailing School no longer rents Sonars. The only way you can Sail Sonar is if you are a Passport Sailing Club Member.

NYSS graduates can particioate in Alumni Sail. Get Sonar from Tuesday through Friday between hours of 10AM to 5 PM for $35 and for additional $35 you may bring up to 5 guests.

NYSS graduates can practice sail on weekends from 9 AM to 1 PM for $25.

CRUISERS

For overnighters, we offer on a limited schedule:
Mirage 27 - inboard diesel, full cabin (sleeps 4), basic galley and head.
Mirage 30 - inboard diesel with 2 separate cabins (sleeps 5), galley and head.

Beneteau Oceanis 390 - inboard diesel with 3 separate double cabins (sleeps 7-8), full galley, two heads and hot shower.
