As a member of The Passport Sailing Club, you'll enjoy all the benefits of boat ownership with none of the hassles. Sail whenever and as often as you like! Passport Sailing Club members enjoy unlimited sailing sessions on our daysailers.

Prerequisite: Master's Course (ASA - 101) and Coastal Navigation (ASA – 105) or equivalent.

Initiation fee: $100.

• Master's Course Graduates do not pay initiation fee if enrolling in the same sailing season after the course.
• Join with companion sailor and split the initiation fee when two enroll together.

Monthly dues: $75 per month.

• Monthly dues will be charged automatically to your credit card account on the end of each month.
• Your total due for a year is $900.

Supportive members: Member who would like to sail with a family member or a friend may include them as supportive members.

• Supportive members can only sail with a primary member.
• Monthly dues for supportive members are $37.50 a month each.

Your total due for supportive member in a year is $450.

Guests: Each member can bring along one guest for each sailing session free of charge.

• If a member brings the same guest within a one-month period, there will be an additional charge of $25 per sailing session for that guest.
• Members can bring an additional guest for $25 per sailing session

Sailing Season:

Sailing season starts April 1 to October 31.

Sailing Times:

Tuesday through Friday - 10:00 AM - 5 PM
Saturday and Sunday
AM session - 9:00 AM - 1 PM
PM session - 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Sailing Area: Limits of navigation as posted in the office and in the “Rental Agreement”.

Rental Agreement: The terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement will apply to all members.

Payments:

The $100.00 initiation fee is due at signing.
Monthly dues will be charged automatically to your credit card account on 25th each month.

Length of membership: Minimum membership length - 12 month (one year).
Passport Sailing Club membership is automatically renewed.

Cancellations:

Cancellation after one year must be requested in writing by mail or e-mail and the remaining balance becomes due immediately.
If you stop the authorization of your monthly club dues, your unpaid balance will becomes due immediately and your club privileges will stop immediately.
If you stop payment of dues for the months of November through March, you may be prohibited from rejoining the Club or being a guest of other Club members.
In short, members must be in good standing throughout the year to enjoy the benefits of the club during sailing season.
NYSS reserves the right to terminate the membership of a member.

Refunds:

There are NO refunds on initiation fee or monthly dues.

Reservations:

Members can join together and reserve a boat as a group for a sailing session.
No more than two outstanding reservations are allowed at one time.
24 hours cancellation notice prior a sailing session is required.
No show charge - $10 per person and guests.
Members are encouraged to call at 914 235-6052, e-mail sailing@nyss.com their reservations by Wednesday noon for the following weekend.

I have read the PSC membership agreement and the rental contract in its entirety and I fully understand the term, conditions and liability as set forth on both documents, that I have a copy of the conditions of rental agreement.

I agree to pay the initial and membership fee. I elect to have my monthly dues charged to my credit card on the 25th day of each month. If I cancel my membership, I agree to pay the full unpaid balance of my membership dues for current calendar year
